The illustrated Cold Steel knife is the Cold Steel 1917 Frontier Bowie knife that features a 12 1/4" clip point fixed blade made of 1085 carbon steel, 1/4" thick. The blade of this Cold Steel knife has a large fuller and a blued finish. The Rosewood handle has a modified pistol grip and an S shaped steel guard for secure purchase. A high quality leather sheath with blued steel fittings and detachable belt frog is included with this Cold Steel knife. The Cold Steel 1917 Frontier Bowie knife has an overall length of 17 5/8", and it weighs 23.8 ounces, superb quality reproduction for the collector.

Over the years Cold Steel has become quite enamored with the history and work potential of the sax so they decided to make a simple version and call it the Woodsman's Sax. Like some historical saxes that have survived, the Woodsman’s features a stout 11" long blade with the characteristic sloping point and an unadorned wooden handle made from exotic imported hardwood. Each of the broad-bladed saxes also comes with a sturdy "period correct" leather scabbard, complete with belt straps, and accented with solid brass "period correct" buckles.
