Age Verification Information
Visa and MasterCard are only issued to persons 18
years of age or older, therefore we use sophisticated fraud
checks to confirm that the cardholder has placed the order
which also confirms age of purchaser without us needing to
contact the customer directly.
Maestro, Electron, Solo and other debit cards can be issued to
under 18's therefore we will make background checks to
verify age, we can normally do this without needing to contact
the card holder by using the Electoral role, however, if
possible we would prefer payment by other card types to help
reduce our workload and/or need to contact you.
Please be aware that falsifying our age declaration on the
order form is a serious legal offence and should we determine
you are under legal age to purchase items from this site at
any time, we will prosecute to the fullest extent of the law.

Shipping Information
A Free Postage - Several items are sold with free postage, this
is to mainland UK only and can include additional products
such as a stand or other swords on the free postage offer
Knives - Approx £0.50p by Royal Mail, insured
Large Knives / Daggers - by Royal Mail - typically £2-3,
insured. ** Prices are based on weight and will be slightly
more for heavier items
Swords / Orders over 2 kilos - £7.50 . . . . (£7.50 is the max
postage we charge, it will cover any sized order to UK, Wales
and Scotland). This is for a '24 hour' Parcelforce, Business
Post or Parceline, Insured, Signed delivery.
Next Day Delivery* - is £4 and offered up to 2.30pm daily
(exc. Sat/Sun), the option for next day will be found on the
checkout page, only available to mainland UK.
* Should our courier fail to attempt delivery the next
working day we will refund the £4 fee.
Everything is in stock unless stated in the description, these
are updated every 48hrs, If an item has gone out of stock we
will contact you with the anticipated arrival and the option to
cancel at any time, waiting times are typically 5-10 days for
new stock to come in.
Northern Ireland / Isle Of Wight - Shipping is the same for
knives/daggers. Larger orders are £12.50 by Parcelforce to
Northern Ireland and £20 to the Isle of Wright/Man
Ireland - Shipping to Ireland takes approx 3-5 days and
costs £15 for an entire order.

Delivery Times
A Swords - Typically 2-3 days from order for in stock items,
you will receive an order confirmation when you place the
order, a processed receipt within 24-48 hrs and a despatched
email with your tracking number the moment your order has
left our warehouse. Please norte that at busy times or when
we have had a delivery, our standard delivery can be
affected by a few days so you should allow 7 working days
for delivery, if you need your items in a hurry then please
use the next day option to avoid dissapointment.
Knives - Typically 3-5 days from order as Royal Mail collect
twice a week from the warehouse. If you pay by cheque then
delivery will be around 10-12 days.

FAULTS/DAMAGE/LOSS
A Damage/Fault/Loss - In the highly unlikely event that the item
should be damaged, lost in transit to you or be faulty, we will
deal with the situation in accordance with your legal rights.
Please use the following guide for care of the goods;
1. Where goods have been delivered, please keep hold of
packaging/goods in case they need to be inspected by
the courier as part of their insurance claim process.
2. Do not attempt to use the item
3. Contact us as soon as possible, to make things easier you
can log in to your account and file a damaged goods form.
You must include your order number with any return so we
can trace it back to you

Returns and Cancellations
A We only sell items that meet our high standards for both
workmanship and value for money. If you don't like your item
just let us know and we will issue a refund or replacement
for you, whichever you prefer.
Returns are at your risk and should be sent insured.
If you decide to cancel your order before it leaves the
warehouse there will be no charge, in fact you may cancel
your order up to 7 working days from the date of delivery.
If you cancel your order after goods have been shipped, you
will need to return these at your own expense as soon as
possible.
If you fail to keep the goods in reasonable condition while in
your care (including transport back to us) and this leads to
damage or deterioration then we will charge you for the
reduction in value.
This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights e.g.
should the item arrive faulty or mis-described

Special Order Items<

A Special Order items typically arrive in 5-10 days to arrive,
however, being special order they can be out of stock with
wholesalers and subject to customs/postal delays so import
times should be viewed as a rough guide.

Product Guarantee
A Most items on the site carry a 12 month guarantee against
defective workmanship or software failure. Should you
experience a problem with your item please contact us and
we will contact the appropriate manufacturers/wholesalers on
your behalf. Most manufacturers have a 'usage policy' which
determines what is and what is not covered, for instance,
damage resulting from incorrect use would not be covered.
After our return policy has expired your cover will
automatically switch to the manufactuers product guarantee.
We can normally arrange the replacement product to be
delivered to you however please be aware some
manufactuer's require the customer to return the product to
them directly.

may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of
visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which
would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify

Anti-Fraud Protection
A Retailers are often subject to credit card fraud, caused by
criminals using stolen cards to place orders. We combat this
in various ways including checking the address given as
the 'billing' address on our order form against that which the
credit card company has on file. If these do not match the
transaction will be flagged for investigation and goods will not
be shipped until the purchaser has confirmed their identity, do
not falsify the order form, we will prosecute illegal
chargebacks without fail.
In order to validate the cardholder as genuine we may make
a small charge to the card (under £1) and ask the customer
to verify the exact amount charged, when completed this will
be deducted from the final order amount and the order
processed post-haste.

your order, however, Blades UK has not accepted your order
until such time as we begin processing your order (i.e. when
you have been charged). Although it has never happened,
should the price of an item have changed since you placed
the order, we will contact you with the new price and you can
decide if you wish to proceed. Prices on the website are valid
for as long as we hold the product in stock at our warehouses.
