Wooden saya with gold lacquer finish and metal adornments, leather and material sageo in an eloborate style seen on high end Ceremonial Japanese Katana of the period. 44" Overall with a 26.5" sharpened hand forged high carbon steel blade with bohi to reduce weight further, with the extended handle length of 13", this makes for a very agile sword.

This is a faithful reproduction of Captain Nathan Algren’s sword from the movie Last Samurai and no detail has been left out including the engraving of the samurai spirit on the side of the blade. The sword is also a well balanced sword for martial arts use finished to a high standard.
