Wooden saya with etched and burnt effect finish, genuine rayskin finished in red and aged leather ito, metal fittings in detailed silver finish, full tang double pegged, brass habaki. Complete in box with stand and sleeve, overall very nice quality, little excess glue in the saya fittings so priced to reflect this.
39" Overall with a 27" sharpened, hand forged T10 high carbon steel blade, full tang and double pegged. The blade is clay tempered producing a differential blade hardness of 58/40 HRC and a true hamon against the black finish.
